University of Nebraska's Independent Study High School

UNL's Independent Study High School (ISHS) offers a full high school curriculum of more than 100 courses: core, elective and Advanced Placement®. Courses are available online and in print. Our Way Cool course management system gives students instant grading and feedback on assignments and allows online submission of assignments and exams. Courses from the ISHS are uniquely designed so students may start courses at any time and control the pace at which they learn.

The Independent Study High School is fully accredited by the Nebraska Department of Education and the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement. This accreditation means a diploma from the ISHS is recognized by colleges and universities and individual courses are transferable to other high schools nationwide.

University of Oklahoma Independent Learning High School

The University of Oklahoma Independent Learning High School (OUILHS) provides the opportunity for teenagers and adults to earn a fully accredited high school diploma through distance learning.

Choose from over 100 courses developed and taught by experienced faculty and delivered online or through print. Enhance your academic record with more than 60 freshman and sophomore college courses available for dual high school and college credit.

Allied National High School

Allied National High School is an accredited online high school located in Laguna Hills, California. We offer a comprehensive high school curriculum designed to meet the needs of students who are either college bound or who may be interested in pursuing vocational post-secondary education. Students work at their own pace and are supported by highly qualified instructors and staff in an online environment. Open enrollment allows for flexibility in scheduling and students may enroll anytime throughout the year.

ANHS is accredited regionally by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), trans-regionally by the Commission on International and Trans-regional Accreditation, (CITA), and nationally by the Accrediting Commission of the Distance Education and Training Council, (DETC). Bloomington Public Schools

Education counselors may be interested in knowing that Bloomington Public Schools in Bloomington, Minnesota offers the courses leading to a high school diploma through a program called Mindquest. Mindquest counselors develop individualized learning plans for each student. Previous high school credits and other prior learning experiences can be applied toward graduation. Students actively participate in courses via the Internet and communicate through the Mindquest Bulletin Board or private Email with other students, advisors, counselors, or teachers. CompuHigh World’s First Online High School

CompuHigh offers two high school diploma programs to prepare students for either a two year or a four year college program after high school.
