Military Personnel requesting Transcripts and Grade Reports For Exams Taken After 1 July 1974

When requesting a transcript or grade report, be very specific as to where it is to be sent. Include any office symbol, code or particular person at the institution that is to receive the transcript (i.e., admissions, evaluations, graduation, etc).

Military personnel, who tested overseas or onboard ship from 1 Jul 74 to the present and those testing in the United States after 1 Oct 85, will find their record on file with GED Testing Service. Military personnel who tested in the United States after 1 Jul 74 but prior to 1 Oct 85 will find their GED record on file with either their State home of record or the State they tested in. All students requesting transcripts from schools located in Panama should write to:

Requests for transcripts must have the following information:

Full Name
Maiden Name (if applicable)
SSN
Date of Birth
Name of School (ex. Panama Canal Zone Community College)
Graduation Date or Last Date Attended
Daytime Phone Number

Requests MUST be signed by the individual making the transcript request. Transcripts should be received in 10 to 12 days (or longer if overseas). The phone number is (706) 545-4785/8246. Requests can be faxed to (706) 545-1239.
